This product is not suitable if you live in an area where the temperature rises above 80F. The part sticking to the window is fine. If you stretch out your hand, it will bounce too much. As soon as heat gets on the product, it becomes unusable. The bullet does not pierce the phone in a vertical position and simply sinks to the ground. The holder is spaced 0.25" from the suction cup and tilts forward but still sticks to the windshield. The lever used to create suction doesn't seem to do anything when a bit of heat hits it. If the ball clamp works then you can live with that, it's very hard to find a spot where it isn't obstructed by window glass, rear view mirrors, general visibility etc anything but glass. I wouldn't recommend this for a large phone. or for hotter climates. I will try to find a good place and install the holder and then glue the ball in place. If that fails, then it's time for the trash can.
