Read the instructions first.

I have found that vent adapters are useless on mine. The hose continued to fall. I connected the hose directly to the drain. An integrated vacuum shut off valve would be a nice feature to give you more control over the suction when filling the master cylinder. The suction power is good and easy to use. Good product for the price.
