Cannot clean up, very efficient, unsatisfactory customer support.

I bought this for two jobs mixing eggs for breakfast and various soups in the winter. The odors emanating from the device after a few weeks of use are disgusting and the support hasn't been quick or particularly helpful so far. Here's the situation: We've had a cheap hand blender from cuisinart for 7 years. It was underpowered, light and noisy, but it got the job done and was easy to clean until the engine died. Around the same time, when I was looking for a replacement, I decided to replace all of our cheaper cookware with All-Clad stainless steel, so I read a few reviews and decided to make a matching set out of it. It's a solid and powerful setup, but I make eggs for myself and my family every morning. First I noticed a slight odor coming from the device so I started washing it more thoroughly. It then turned into something really fishy which led me to ask the manufacturer for advice, they of course suggested washing it and leaving it upright until completely dry. It did not work. the liquid appears to be drawn into the chute as it is mixed and cannot be expelled. I'm not the type of person who chokes easily. (I have kids and I always clean them up when they get sick - no problem!) But I once stuck my nose near this thing after being in a drawer for a few days and nearly losing my coffee. For a $90 product I am disappointed that the "inspection" takes 2 weeks and I am very disappointed that the inspection takes 3 or 4 weeks. I don't know what the final verdict will be but I went ahead and bought another cheap stove that works great and doesn't smell like death after use.
