No overheating. The temperature reading seems accurate. You can only set one target temperature. You can set a temperature offset either way to tell the device when to start, but the goal is always the same temperature setting. For example, you can set the target temperature (SV) to 60 degrees and the cold differential to 20 degrees. This means that the device turns on the heating power at 40 degrees and keeps it on until the temperature reaches 60 degrees. You can set the heat difference to 25 degrees and the cooling power turns on at 85 degrees and stays on until the measured temperature reaches 60 degrees. switch on the heating to 50 degrees in winter and at the same time set the cooling side to 80 degrees and the cooling to 70 degrees in summer.
