A little difficult but generally satisfied

Generally satisfied with the installation. I installed this on a Model Y. I bought brown seat covers. It's not that dark anymore, but I still look good. The instructions for installing the front seats were clear. However, the rear seats were for the Model 3. You can find out for yourself, but it would be nice if those were the correct instructions. I thought I was missing some parts. However, Model Y didn't need them. The Model Y was much easier to install compared to the Model 3. I would say the Model 3 would take about an hour longer to install compared to the Model Y. My total install time was 2.5 to 3 hours for the front and back. The hardest part was attaching the top half of the rear seat flap. I had to lengthen the black elastics with extra elastics and tuck them into the seat to pull them back (like the front seats). I then used the clips provided to attach the elastics to the child car seat's tether tether located on the back of the seat (photos attached). Otherwise it would not be protected. This was the hardest part of the installation and as no instructions were provided I had to figure out how to secure this foot valve. Also remove the carpet pan in the trunk to access the rubber straps. You only have about an inch to reach the rubber bands and pull them out of the ground. If you have a car seat that you want to use with a harness, only the middle seat can be accessed as the middle panel on the back of the seat is an optional installation. The other two cables are covered by the seat cover. Car seat locking systems are still available with these seat covers. Hope that helps!
