I bought this to make it easier for the child to buckle up in their car seat. In the back passenger side seat, I can't get the end of the seat belt all the way through, so every day it slips out a little more and I have to push it back in if that makes sense. In the back seat on the driver's side I have the belt fully tightened, so it works as it should. So if you were able to fully hook the belt through the buckle reinforcement, you're spot on. Otherwise, be prepared to tweak it every few days. I prefer the booster on the passenger side so I think I'll look for an extension instead.
