I like the fact that I don’t have to use my laptop computer to convert. This ClearClick AV to HD Converter 2.0 (Second Generation) is easy to use. I successfully converted my Hi-8 video tape cassette recordings to an inserted 128 GB flash drive. Periodically, I saw some what I would call, pixelation on screen but when I stopped the recording on the device, playback on the cassette recorder, removed, re-inserted the tape, played back and recorded again, it was just fine. Perhaps the unit just gets a little overheated after hours of continuous recording. I can view the 20-minute or so clips (2GB chunks) and now ready to use a bit of video software to edit and assemble. I have not yet tried their MP4Joiner yet
