It's one of those things that makes you think, "should I bother with this," and when you think, "how could I live without it!" The legs on the bottom are adjustable, so it fits almost everyone Van suits wash. We have a caravan with 2 sinks; 1 is square and the other is very narrow. It fits over a square sink and sits very securely without moving thanks to the adjustable feet. It almost doubles my workspace and also creates a workspace right in front of me when I need it. The notch doesn't do much other than give me room to remove it to remove it. I can use my small sink to wash my hands or rinse things. But when I have to wash the dishes, I push them aside and use the large sink. It's a cutting board but since it was so expensive I put a separate cutting board on top to keep it from spoiling. Since it sits in the car wash most of the time I want it to look like new.
