perfectly cut limes are great. 8 discs for a good bottle of beer or any number of cocktails. This device certainly seems like a dream come true. The first time you use it to deal with a lime, it will change your life. This is the best way to get the job done. 8 perfect slices that are easy to make and ready to use. But the blades are paper thin and dull very easily. The plastics are brittle and too small to properly hold with your hand to get the leverage needed. After just 2 or 3 cuts, the blades just can't do their job without Herculean strength. The tiny handles make them even more difficult to grab. With no leverage and no dull blades, the shortcomings of this product are immediately apparent. It's a shame because I see myself using this tool almost daily for whatever citrus I can put in. But with such poor quality of materials and workmanship, I instead know that eventually I'll just give it up and go back to the kitchen knife.
