Review on ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Wick Trimmer 2021: Experience Joyful Candle Care with the A Cheerful Giver Wick Trimmer by Amanda Thibault

Be sure to buy candles to burn

Beautifully made - all parts and joints line up correctly but most importantly the blades are sharp. Made of "heavy" (?) metal with paisley engraving and the words "Jolly Giver" on both top handles. I've been using it daily for about a year - the blades are still as sharp as new. But I find it mandatory to clean the blades with a tissue after each use and store them in the box - to prevent oxidation/rusting? It seems that the blades / connection / do not need to be lubricated yet. Trimming the wicks really helps the candle burn more efficiently without releasing soot. So far, all my soy candle cans have been soot-free after each burn. I liked the length of this trimmer as I can lower it down into "longer" cans without a fuss. Because the blades are stacked on top of each other, there's no chance of accidentally "cutting" the wick - the bottom blade rests on top of the candle to prevent this. The photos show the pre-cut.
