First of all I've had it for almost 5 months now. I'm not sure what "rust resistant" means, but it's pretty rusty. It's not bad enough that I feel like it needs to be thrown away, but it does have a few rust spots. What I dislike the most is that the bottom shelf is too close to the top shelf. I figured it wouldn't fit in a full size shampoo bottle, but it doesn't even fit in regular sized Bath and Body Works shower gels - they're too big. So they have to be on their side to fit, which takes up more space and looks silly. If this shelf was just an inch or two further from the top shelf I would give it 4 stars (minus one for the rust spots). However, I couldn't find another shower over the door. I hate shower heads because they always slide off and usually leave marks on the tiles. If there were other options above the door I probably wouldn't recommend this one but as it seems unique I recommend it. Until you expect to fit 3+ bottles of anything and you know it will have rust spots after a few months.
