TL;DR: This is a decent, good-sized electric razor that's great for travel, but doesn't replace a good blade and doesn't do well with long stubble. Long review: I've been a big fan of wet razors for years, so I was immediately skeptical of these reviews, claiming this little electric razor was "as good as a blade". In short: this is a solid electric shaver, but it is absolutely no substitute for a real shaver. I bought this for my infrequent trips as I got tired of stuffing my wet razors in my dope kit and as I rarely check my bag at airports, can get double edged safety razor blades locally (especially the brands I prefer that are rare found in stores) became everyday chores. Honestly it's good enough for what it is. I really like its size. I was a little surprised at how small it was when I took it out and held it in my hands even after looking at the photos, but it's heavy and feels sturdy. It comes with a nice little cleaning brush, but otherwise no frills. I agree. It shaves relatively close for an electric razor - not as close as a blade, but good enough when I'm on the move - and doesn't irritate my rather sensitive skin too much. (Hamamelis helps a lot with this, FYI.) The caveat here is that you don't want to go without it for too long. Since I work from home, I usually wet shave about twice a week or every 3-4 days. I was also sloppy with my routine when I first started using this razor and some of my mustaches were just too long for electric blades no matter how many passes I made or at what angles (see photo). When using this remedy, don't wait more than two days to shave, especially if your mustache tends to lie flat like mine. My safety razor laughs at such long, flat stubble, but this one isn't built to handle it well. All in all, this is a good little electric shaver and a great travel companion. Be wary of reviews that say it's as good as a blade. Moderate your expectations, use before your stubble grows too long and you will be satisfied.
