perfectly made in usa

This 1/4" torque wrench is practically a piece of engineering. You adjust the torque setting, unlike other types that have a spring that keeps pushing the collar up. Just lower the collar, set the torque and raise the collar. Lightweight! Adjustment is smooth, like clockwork. The handle is chunky, but a bit. It's not like sharp sandpaper warps some other torque wrenches The one I received had a production date of 02/21/2021 This torque wrench is something special I have torque wrenches from Proto., Central Tools, Sturdevant Richmont, KD Tools torque wrenches and of course some Beater Tektons, Kobalts and Harbor Freight torque wrenches. This is best of all I am very excited about this torque wrench I have attached some photos attached so you can see the size comparison with Proto's J6062C equivalent 1/4 torque wrench, which has a range of 40 in/lbs to 200 in/lbs. This Precision Instruments M1R200HX has a range of 30 in/lb to 200 in/lb. It is not difficult to understand which one fits better in a limited space. Comes with documents certifying accuracy within 3%. I just want Precision Instruments to make a 3/8 flex head torque wrench that has a range of 5 to 75 ft/lb. This is the best torque wrench for home mechanics because almost every part on a car, with the exception of lug nuts, has 5 to 75 ft/lbs of torque. Unfortunately I had to buy another brand of 3/8 flex head from 5 to 75 ft/lbs. I considered the Precision Instruments M2R1000HX which has a 150-1000 in/lb range but settled on what I had before (replaced the US made KD 5-75 ft/lb instruments with one of a former subsidiary of KD Tools, Gearwrench [ Apex now], which is made in China, so we'll see). In summary, I can only recommend this torque wrench. Simply solid. And since it actually costs less than most other US-made torque wrenches and costs about the same as other big brands that have shifted their production to Asia, it's pretty much a no-brainer. Support our friends in Illinois who make this amazing instrument.
