If you use tubeless tires on your mountain bike, you will definitely need replacement valve cores. The sealant will clog the valves and eventually you will find that you can no longer easily add or remove air from the tires. Replacing a new valve core is the easiest and best way to fix this. Attempting to clean the valve core doesn't really work as the sealant gets quite deep into the valve. It has everything you need to replace the core. Don't know if a valve removal tool is needed, I've always used small pliers with no problem. The price isn't the cheapest, so I'm deducting a star. I have previously purchased 20 valve cores here at Revain for about $8 which is about half the price of this kit. Of course, there were no valve core removal tools or replacement caps in the kit, but I didn't need them.
