In my 04, the included wired adapter from this kit didn't work. Instead of replacing them with the correct ones and waiting for them to arrive, I just cut off the original connector from the old speakers and the wrong connector on the adapter. I connected the necessary combinations together and was in business. Installation wasn't difficult either and the pods fit nicely on my 04 TJ dashboard. They haven't blown my mind yet, but my Jeep has the best sound for sure, and I can hear them well over the wind noise on the freeway. my hood.
