Sounds great, all four speakers replaced at once. The only downside is that the connectors were too narrow to fit the speaker terminals and the front speaker grilles had to be removed to make them narrow. Although I already had 5.25 Fosgate speakers from the amp in my dash. the sound coming from the front of my 97 TJ was nondescript at best. Adding these pods made a huge difference. Now I can really tell what's going on through the soundbar and dashboard. Definitely glad I got them and will use them in every Jeep I have.

They are amazing! Easy installation with the right tools. I ordered a couple of sheet metal knives based on the reviews. I couldn't get them to cut the metal brackets in the dash. So I pulled out my Dremel with the discs I use to cut locks and other metals. It worked like a champ and was very simple. It was a good buy as the sound is much better. The connectors make this very easy as no splicing or soldering is required. love this product!

You MUST cut off the OEM bracket for these pods to fit, metal snips or a dremel would suffice. Otherwise the setup was pretty basic, just missing a star because of the price, but it's all a matter of supply and demand. It's a pretty simple design and it works, the front speakers on my 99 TJ have been changed from 3x5 to these pods and I've put in 5.25 inch speakers. First off, don't expect this to suddenly turn your TJ into an audiophile's dream. This gives you more midrange fill and better bass response. However, the placement of these speakers will always work against you. I have a null in the 180Hz range that can only be resolved by adding additional custom-manufactured speakers to remove it, and there's a lot of punchy mid-bass living in that area. If you just want a decent upgrade to your sound, yes this is great and the difference will be noticeable.

For 18 years I drove with 2 dashboard speakers which didn't really stand out because they were placed in the dashboard and didn't isolate the sound properly and direct it FRONT when needed.
