So they claim it works out of the box. So true. But with maps from 5 years ago. They expect you to download updates that require malware to be installed on your computer in order to do so. And what's worse, it takes over 3.5 hours to load the map! You'd think that if they "restore" those unwanted devices, they'd go through the trouble of installing the latest maps so customers could plug and play, rather than wasting their day updating maps . And to top it all off, after 3.5 hours of plugging in and charging, the battery still looks almost empty. That means they sent me one with a dead battery that won't charge. Here is your renovation! I do not recommend you to buy this product. You'll have better luck and quality if you only buy used from a guy on Craigslist. If they charge me $85 for this product they can at least send me what they promise including updated maps and a working battery. They also didn't give me a mount for the windshield (the little round thing you attach to the window that the suction cup attaches to). So I'm forced to attach the suction cup directly to the windshield, which means it will fall much easier.).
