Cute and soft but doesn't absorb water well

Bought this for a bathmat but doesn't absorb water so well. However, I'm still happy enough with the purchase as it looks cute in my bathroom. I'm now using it as a mat in front of the sink so it catches water that splashes out and keeps the floor dry. My floor is pretty cold in the winter so it also functions as regular bathroom rug plus it's very soft so feels good to step on with bare feet.

Pros

I like all of it. Finally keeping it. So nice and pretty

Cons

Only had it for about a month and it is already showing signs of falling apart
