Here's my problem with the product, I didn't realize there was a separate insert for these boots. When we put my 4 year old daughter in these boots her foot doesn't fit in the insoles at all. So we took off the insoles and put her feet on and then tried to put her feet in the boots, that didn't work either. So we just removed all the pads together and she had no problem getting her legs in. However, this defeats the whole purpose of keeping warm and waterproofing. My daughter is a size 9 and they fit loose so I bought them a size 9. I also don't know if a size 10 would fit better, plus the price has gone up quite a bit. I think insoles are a real problem with these boots and I wouldn't buy them unless you go at least one size up or plan on using insoles.
