Here's my problem with the product, I didn't realize there was a separate insert for these boots. When we put my 4 year old daughter in these boots her foot doesn't fit in the insoles at all. So we took off the insoles and put her feet on and then tried to put her feet in the boots, that didn't work either. So we just removed all the pads together and she had no problem getting her legs in. However, this defeats the whole purpose of keeping warm and waterproofing. My daughter is a size 9 and…

I bought these for my daughter who is almost 5 years old and has carried a toddler for 11 years. We had to (after a few purchases and returns) take it 2 sizes up to fit decent socks. Her feet were very warm in the Wisconsin winter!

This was my first shopping experience with Revain. I have to say these boots are so beautiful and the sizing is what we expected. The boots are very strong and warm, my son tried them both in the snow and in the water - Columbia, as always, did not give up! Thanks for the first super experience!)))))

My son loved them and the fact that he could walk in the snow in them! We removed the heating pads because they were difficult to put on and take off.

These are excellent boots, very warm, waterproof, nice and comfortable so they don't hang around the foot and a good drawstring to attach the belt.

It's a headache to put on. I wouldn't take my son outside just to see him and I didn't have to wear that. If they would continue as easily as they came, that would be great.

I have ordered this brand before for my kids, they are great winter boots for New England winters. Warm and waterproof. Not sure if it was just this particular style or the toddler size but they are very snug, I recommend going at least a size up. Otherwise great shoe.

The materials are really cheap. Thick felt lining that doesn't fit or feel comfortable. The Velcro at the ankle does not tighten, making it easy to remove the boot.

Update: Wow I had to come back here to update my review. We recently spent 2 weeks in Alaska (winter trip) and I am very pleased with the performance of these boots! They were warm and dry! My youngest has had other Columbia boots that claim to be waterproof but still ended up with wet socks, while this pair kept me and my other child dry and warm the whole time! Their size seemed to be based on the shell of the boot without the inner shoe. Taking out the thick liner they seem to fit, but with the liner on they are too small. The lining is a thick plastic mat similar to a carpet mat, it changes the size of the shoe by 1 or 2 full sizes. The quality seems good but they have to match the size of the foot with the liner.

The inserts made the bits a size or 2 smaller. If you want to use the inserts that come with the boots, go up a size. The boots fit perfectly without insoles.

This is an outer boot with a felt insole. The felt lining is removable. My son cannot put his foot in a felt-lined boot. You can remove the felt insert, but then the hard plastic shell will hurt your child's ankles. I first ordered size 11 (normal size for my child). He couldn't even put his boot on with my help. So I ordered 12 (a whole size up) and my kid still couldn't put the boot on by himself. With my help, putting on a shoe still took 10 minutes. The boot has no tongue or laces to widen…

I really like these boots and so does my son, but they are too small, dirty and old. Anyone help this Christmas/Holiday season?

The warm lining it came in is too small for my son even though we ordered a size larger than his size. The inner shoe was about 3 sizes too small. We had to take it off and leave it without wearing which fits but it says it's too cold.

I've tried every possible way to put these boots on my son's feet and nothing has worked for me! I even bought a size bigger. My son is tough and has big legs so I was concerned. My 2 year old loves to do things by himself so I definitely had to send them back as his feet didn't fit in them.

My son has worn these boots every day this winter (even before the heavy snowfall that hit the US Midwest in winter 20-21). They look like the first day, after months of use, his feet are warm and dry at the end of his adventures.

Bought these for my 10 year old. We spend Christmas in Yellowstone on snowmobiles and have snowball fights. NO complaints of cold or wet feet, even after about 70 miles on the back of a snowmobile! Very happy because if the kids get cold the trip will be miserable!

There is plenty of room in this boot if you want to remove the lining and use it primarily as rain protection. The inner lining of this boot prevents the foot from penetrating it, defeating the purpose of using lined boots to keep little feet warm in the snow. I had to return this product. I am not 100% sure this is a genuine (not counterfeit) item due to the design of the liner.

Well made boot as expected from Columbia. It has full inserts so be careful not to lose them when you remove them to clean. Arrived on time and was as advertised.

These boots look great but I couldn't put them on my 3 year old's foot even though I ordered a size up. She's very thin, so the width of her foot or leg doesn't matter. Rather, the design of the shoes is such that the child has to move and push the foot very hard in order to get around the "curve". It might have been possible for an older child, but not for my 3 year old. Too bad because the boots look very cute.
