Not really worth even half the price.

Is this a telescope? Yes. Does it bring things closer? Yes. Is it well built? no Is the tripod durable? nope Is it easy to focus on objects? Not really, the substance they lubricated the gears with is very viscous and actually makes a ripping noise, it's so gooey and with that flimsy tripod they taunted you with, your focus will hardly stay on what you're on try to aim. So, the pros: it's a telescope, it zooms in, and it has multiple magnification and eyepiece aperture settings that beginners will want to gain experience with. The bluetooth camera shutter allows pairing via bluetooth, works very simply and is a must-have for connecting photos of any kind with a phone adapter. Main cons: very cheap build quality. Lots of plastic. Excess glue on the body of the scope had to be scraped off and wiped off. There was dust on the star diagonal right out of the box and from the plastic wrap, so there are artifacts in the image on the first day. The mirror also absorbs light, so you use it less often. The tripod is so flimsy that trying to raise the telescope turns it into a bobblehead, making it almost impossible to use with any idea of accuracy. Therefore, you should leave it at its lowest point and look through the telescope with a star diagonal. The telescope isn't balanced for cell phone use either, so it pushes down. You pretty much stick your hand in sticky lube to keep it in place while you try to tighten everything so you can take photos. The advantage or disadvantage of the telescope mount is that it is a single tripod screw, so it can be attached to most tripods that cameras use. But there is also only one support point instead of the twin screws I usually see on entry-level scopes. This allows you to rotate the scope loose if you forget to use the knob to rotate the tripod rather than the scope itself. If you have a more durable camera or camcorder tripod, it can fix many of the shortcomings of that setup. Having a sturdier tripod so you can elevate your telescope so you don't have to look down through a diagonal saves you from wasting light and probably has a much better time putting things back in place. But it's no good that you have to provide your own tripod at this point. I feel like it's a lot more like setting up a sub-$40 telescope with what you get. Some might see value in this setup, but the consumer needs so much to be usable and even presentable that it feels overpriced. The packaging was good and the delivery time almost 2 weeks earlier than stated in the Prime Day Sales. So I don't want to give a star if the seller did a great job on me, fast and in good condition.
