After 6 years and 70,000 km my factory fan made a very annoying squeaking sound that almost sounded like noise from the speakers (fortunately it wasn't. ) I got this for Bought my Hyundai Genesis Coupe (listed as compatible). Although it fit and the attachment points were correct, the connector was on the wrong side. This meant I had to loosen the zip tie at the top to have enough slack to plug it in. Nothing bad, but annoying when you have to sit at that angle. However, once installed the real issue was the whistle at any speed above 10%. The sound is different, but certainly no better than a creaking factory fan. The return went smoothly and I bought another one (black blades) from a popular auction site, which is a bit annoying now. Slightly better than a squeak or whistle, but three fans, three different sounds.
