sketch cable; Expect them to be replaced quickly

I had problems with some of these cables when they arrived and had to replace many of them. There are a few 100 megabit devices that I have left at this location, but they will be replaced soon and I need to buy better patch cords. As an example of problems, I'm using Ubiquiti Wi-Fi Access Points with PoE injectors. Access points often (several times within a few minutes) lost their network connection and all connected devices lost their internet connection and renegotiated it with the next access point. Reconnecting on the fly, Wi-Fi devices see a stronger signal and return to the nearest access point, after which the cycle repeats. The power seemed to stop, but the ethernet connection dropped. Sometimes after many crashes the hotspot would just shut down and I had to reset to accommodate my annoyance. I finally figured out what was going on and replaced those wires on either side of the PoE injector. Since then, the access points have been working stably. I found out why the signal was terrible shortly after seeing this behavior. I wanted to shorten a few of them so I cut a few in half and tried to patch up the cut ends. I've been connecting cables for many years and have never seen such thin and flimsy wires in an Ethernet cable. It reminded me of Category 2 stranded telephone wiring in RJ12 cords. Lesson learned with cheap cables. They have a low price for some reason. Pay a little more and get better cables.
