NO GIGABIT SPEEDS. DO NOT PURCHASE, NON-REFUNDABLE.

Does not support gigabit speeds. You can reach a maximum speed of 100 Mbps. I replaced most of the wired cables in my devices with these and now my internet speed is less than 100mbps where before they were all 300mbps. Now I found out it's non-refundable? I've been paying for Prime for years and can't return defective items?

Fast internet cable connects to router/splitter

I bought these cables to replace various cables for connected devices in my house. Previously, I couldn't get anywhere near the internet speed I paid for on the device. I went through a few troubleshooting steps to discover that it was my cables limiting the speed between my Arris modem and Google Mesh WiFi, as well as other devices in my house that were interacting with my other Google mesh "washing machines". were hardwired. After the upgrade I get full speed (300Mbps). With my old cables I…

Doesn't work for ethernet/internet

I wired ethernet internet throughout my house and tested them as adapters to split a wall ethernet connection between multiple devices. I've tested about half of them and none of them transmit an internet signal. I know that the adapters I use are fine because when I use other cables, the internet goes perfectly to my devices. So these cables are bad. I don't see any obvious reason why they aren't working, but I haven't taken them apart to see if they're properly connected. Luckily, Revain gave

Great for general networking use

I was fed up with making new 10ft Ethernet cables every time a user went looking for one, or losing my lab cables to other techs, and I didn't want to to fulfill the actual order , so I just ordered this 10 pack. Good choice - I basically outsourced some of my work to China and only had to pay a fraction of my hourly rate to save an hour of tedious work. They've been connected and working for a month and a half and I haven't had any problems, the quality seems good. Like many Ethernet cables…

GREAT ANTI-SNAG design, thin CAT5e cable, good price, value for money

Network cables are mass-produced. It is cheap, widely used, and for the most part reliably performs a well-defined function. So what makes a cable different? What matters to me is how well the ports and boots are designed. Particularly non-slip design. These iMBAPrice cables are designed to avoid snagging. The design is a fairly standard hood over the tongue. The pinch protection works well and you have to lower the hood to release the connector. The sheathing of these cables seems easier than…

Very important. Well, if you don't plan on turning them off often.

Required new Ethernet cables on a refurbishment side. Nothing special but all the old cables were worn, torn, twisted etc. The cables worked fine but the tab on the RJ45 connector was a bit short. It's quite difficult to pinch it with an adult's fingers to unplug it. Eventually I had to use needle nose pliers to remove a few and found that the tongue cover could fall down and past the tongue making it very difficult to remove from the socket. an extra 1 cm to lengthen the tongue could have…

Returning due to shortened latch

Due to the shortened latch, the latch can get stuck in whatever device you connect it to fairly easily. If you don't catch it and then try to remove it, it will flip the latch to a vertical position and lock the connector until you bend it back and strain the plastic. The latch is likely to break soon due to repeated stress. and will either stick in the power plug or break, preventing a proper fit. Rating: 5/5 This is great if you never actually take it off. Easy to remove: 1/5 Hope you enjoy…

Shortened Latch Return

The shortened latch can easily get stuck in whatever device you connect it to. Don't get caught on it and then try to remove it, it will flip the latch to a vertical position and lock the connector in place until you bend it back and strain the plastic. It is likely that due to repeated stress, the latch will soon break and either become stuck in the connector or break, preventing a proper seat. Value: 5/5. It's great if you never really take it off. Easy to remove: 1/5. I hope you enjoy…

sketch cable; Expect them to be replaced quickly

I had problems with some of these cables when they arrived and had to replace many of them. There are a few 100 megabit devices that I have left at this location, but they will be replaced soon and I need to buy better patch cords. As an example of problems, I'm using Ubiquiti Wi-Fi Access Points with PoE injectors. Access points often (several times within a few minutes) lost their network connection and all connected devices lost their internet connection and renegotiated it with the next…

Not worth the money or you get what you pay for

UPDATE BELOW: I confess I've been looking for cheap patch cords to connect rack mount equipment to my home lab. After connecting the two cables, I had to remove them to manage the cables. I couldn't unplug a cable. After I cut off the sheath covering the clip, both cables I connected had tiny bits of vinyl/PVC underneath the clip. There's no way I would remove them without cutting off the case and then digging up that little piece. The cables were shipped individually wrapped and I did not…
