This is a good shampoo and conditioner if you are looking for a whiter blonde than a gray blonde. I recently had homemade balayage on naturally dark brown hair. The photo shows my hair after a single use of shampoo and conditioner, on freshly bleached hair, with no toner. It smells a little floral, but not disgusting. The shampoo cleans well and the conditioner moisturizes. I removed a star because it was said to be for darker hair and didn't tone my lighter strands as well as my lighter strands. It also turned my hands blue which to be honest doesn't really matter to me as it lets you know it's working!
