Review on BA19 08027OMF 12CE26 1C100 Connected White Dimmable LED Bulb by Maya Rico

I bought five of these lamps and was initially quite happy with them. Installation was just screwing them into the sockets and it was pretty easy to plug them into my SmartThings hub. I liked the simplicity and the fact that they allow dimming without the need for an external dimming circuit. That's the problem. Those damn things flash randomly all the time! Keep in mind that this is just a quick flash, but it's pretty annoying when the lamp suddenly flashes at full brightness! Especially the lamp above my bed. I've set it to turn on as an alert when my garage door opens, so I always get out of bed at a wicked hour to make sure no one breaks in. A quick internet search will reveal that MANY MANY people have the same problem. Cree does offer to replace bulbs if you show proof of purchase (no, I don't keep receipts for old bulbs!), but most report that replacement bulbs have the same problem. They clearly aren't interested in fixing the problem through a software update or any other means, so I won't let them run my business any longer, and I suggest you don't either.
