I like this set of lights very much. We used to use cheap holiday lanterns outside which were an unreliable nightmare. This set looks classy. It comes well packaged and includes 4 spare bulbs. When I installed them, one light generally didn't go out. The other 2 appeared to be out of order but required a little twisting to tighten. They spin on and off safely and easily, no problem. The bulbs are glass, I foolishly broke one when I accidentally dropped it on the floor. They were a bit smaller than I personally expected, about 2/3 the size of a standard incandescent bulb, I'd say round. After replacing a light bulb that was off, I noticed that they all stay on when you take the bulb out, which is obviously amazing. There are two sets of 25, which sounds like a lot but never really covers as much as you'd expect. They connect like Christmas lights. There isn't much extra cord besides the bulbs, but I was expecting to use an extension cord anyway. However, it covered the area I wanted and they are bright enough to relax at night without being overwhelming or glaring.
