The piston itself was good. The problem I had was that it wasn't handled properly. So the metal fastener stuck out in front of the plastic where the piston head was supposed to be attached. I had to file it down to fit the piston head. I will also note that there was some weird rusty residue on the teeth when it first arrived. I was able to brush it off and it seemed fine. The first few thousand shots from my gun went well after installation.
