At first I thought the band was beautiful. However, the finish began peeling off almost immediately on both sides that attach to the Fitbit. I've never gotten wet! (The rest of the strap still looks good - not as shiny as it did at first, but still good enough to wear.) I think I'll try to get the peeling gold flakes off the silver strap as the rest of the strap is silver . anyway, but I definitely shouldn't. (Also, this band is made for a large wrist. I had to remove 4 links to get it to fit, which wasn't easy.) That being said, I probably would have bought the band anyway if I knew what I know because what I do prefer "jewelry" and how they fit. There just aren't many options for a feminine, extravagant group!
