Most of the trees in my area have a problem. This is not the sap of a tree, but a tree that produces small "nuts". When this "nut" hits the hard surface of a car, pavement, etc., it bursts and everything in that "nut" becomes stained and cannot be easily removed. I have tried everything and everything and nothing removes this stain. If you park under one of these trees in spring or summer when this tree is in bloom, your car will look like someone dumped a bucket of rust on your car! We tried it on the car and it worked!
