I am a 69 year old lucky sea and river kayaker

I am a 69 year old sea and river kayaker and have a successful if limited experience as an international photojournalist. First let me say it was a pleasure working with the company! I bought another camera mount (on the shoulder) which seemed well made and would fit me perfectly in my 20's but sadly not in my 60's. The company was very helpful. As for this product, I think it's a very good buy. I ordered a few items (including a GoPro Stick extension) before embarking on a photography trip to Antarctica in 2017. I took a professional camera with me but carefully hid it while riding the jumping zodiac. A pleasant surprise was the new camera with voice control GoPro 5 Hero Black. The combination of this new tiny camera and this kit worked surprisingly well. Of the items in this kit: I have never used a headgear before. I was shot through a knee so no more tripping off the track and through the trees. It would probably be great to have it then! The harness/shoulder strap is fine and had enough slack to accommodate my girth from a previous wine trip to Italy. However, as a shoulder strap for most people, I recommend their other product. Kayakers beware: you don't need a strap fastened down the middle of your chest to snap photos of your arms and paddle; Consider another strap from the company that sits better on the shoulder. Of course, if you like serious whitewater you already have a dedicated helmet and you can attach a head strap to it, which is probably the best solution. And now a surprise: Most of the time I used a wrist strap! In a jumping Zodiac with bulky body armor, it was easy to move your left hand while holding your right and verbally command the camera to turn on and "take a picture" or "record a video." Also, the wrist strap can be carried with other things. as the wrist. When I saw another photographer attaching a gorilla clip and his camera to the railing in front of the ship's bridge. trace the passage through the pass. I did the same thing, simply strapping the strap to the rail, attaching my more expensive GoPro camera, and setting the camera to the desired time-lapse. It worked. For the price, that's hardly a problem. One of the points would probably justify the purchase of the package.
