Great overshoes for Vans

I bought CXWXC neoprene bike overshoes to wear over my Vans while cycling (MTB, trails and trails). They are designed and sized for cycling shoes, but the XX-Large fits my US size 9.5 Vans Pro V snugly. They are comfortable, keep my shoes dry and my feet warm. I've worn them on several pre-dawn rides in temperatures ranging from 40F (5C) to 20F (-7C) and for 1 hour. I also wore them on a rainy morning walk after my boots were dry to the bone. The cases seem to be well made for the price. There are reflective printed toe loops on the shin and heel of the ankle boots to help you put on the ankle boots. The heel and bottom of the boot are reinforced to protect against abrasion. The Velcro that runs through the midsole is also reinforced (although I'd try to keep the strap to a minimum). There are also reflective logos on the outside of the ankles and on the front of the covers. The zip has a thin plastic coating to keep water out (this increases resistance when using the zip). The zipper is easy to grab when you pull it shut and locks in place well enough not to open while you're wearing it. I've found that when putting on shoe covers, it's best to open them up and fold them in before putting on your shoes. Then, when you put your shoes on, pull the overshoes over your toes and then use the heel loop on the overshoes to pull them over your heels. Then attach the Velcro straps in the middle of the sole and close the zipper. To make it easier to close, make the zipper as straight as possible with your toes pointing down. Overall I am very happy with the CXWXC neoprene bike cases. I hope my review was helpful to you.
