I read a few reviews before ordering this bedding set. You can't always believe what you read half the time, so I decided to give it a try. After ordering I came back and read many more reviews and it seemed to me that all these reviews were not very good and I got a little nervous. When the blanket arrived I prayed it was what I wanted. It was everything I wanted! Looking at the pics some people had posted, the chevron side of the bed cover looked really cheap and faded and looked like the weird feeling material that the bed skirt is made of (I honestly don't know what it's called) . But the whole duvet set (including pillows) was very soft and fluffy. The chevron side looked much better live than in the photos. For the price I thought it was a great bedding set. Did I hesitate at first? Yes, but it looks much better in real life. I've now read reviews where some people washed their duvet which was torn and felt different. That makes me nervous. Maybe they tried to put the comforter in a smaller washing machine and that's why it broke? I take mine to a laundromat that has bigger machines and wash them on the gentle cycle. Also read the care instructions for everyone. Wash in cold water on gentle cycle and tumble dry or tumble dry. Maybe that's why the filling in the ceiling is lumpy.
