These headphones can be folded up. However, this allows the headphones to twist and move too much, and there's no way to lock them in place. You have to twist, flip and twist them into the right position and hold them so you can put them on your ears. I bought them for my mum so she could hear my TV better and she didn't have the talent to position them properly, hold them that way and then put them on her ears.
