We have a hunting dog, dogs like to hunt. When hunting, dogs disobey. We bought it to be able to take our dog on a hike. We installed it between two trees, it's very long. We didn't install it according to the instructions, we wrapped the ends around the trees and used the clips that came with it. It worked for us, was portable, and didn't harm the trees. She liked that she could look around the camp while respecting the camp's rules. She tried to chase the gopher and the cart stopped her very quickly (she only tried once). She weighs about 65 pounds. She is not aggressive and does not try to get off the cart/leash. It was very convenient for us to leave them on while we loaded and unloaded the warehouse. I definitely recommend it.
