There were many wrong and strange things in this hat. First, they have huge velcro straps that attach the bow to the hat instead of just sewing it on all the time. Velcro is very obvious and annoying. It was also noted that the loop was placed just above the forehead and not on the side of the head, which looked ridiculous. I removed the velcro and band around the hat because the seam of the band was in front of the head as well. I took it apart and then put the ribbon back on with the seam to the side and hand sewed the loop on the side where it should be without the big ugly velcro. The adjustable drawstring inside the cap is stretchy, which is actually a bit annoying. because your head can almost always slip through since it's stretchable. The color is beautiful and the hat will be cute once the packaging marks are gone, but I would only buy this hat if you are willing to take it apart and put it back together. .
