I bought this to replace an old tower cleaner that was in my son's room. He has 2 pet guinea pigs and between the hay and pig poo there was a very strong barnyard smell. I installed this with the fan setting on 2 and the filter indicator on, couldn't believe the difference when I came back about an hour later. My son's room is only 12x15 but the smell has completely gone. I'll probably get another one for the living room/kitchen on my next paycheck.
