Cute, but "smelly! "

Very pretty shade of pink! Comfortable. But since they are like "jelly" shoes, they have a "rubber" smell to them. I've been trying to air them out but it doesn't do much good. I can't wear them out because the smell is pretty strong. Any tips on how to get rid of the smell?
