My daughter loves them. Extremely easy to use (like watercolor) and doesn't smear. The box mentions a sponge but only includes 2 brushes of different thicknesses. Personally, I react a little to some colors (red in particular) and get a little itching/burning. But nothing too bothersome, except that I can't wear it for long. My daughter has no itching or burning on her skin. When washing, the color may not completely disappear immediately, especially if it lies for a long time. But that goes away later on the second soap wash (or the next day's shower). So if you plan to paint your entire face green or blue, don't do it right before an important meeting.
