Even though the gold rings look pretty, opening the clasp was a real challenge. After that, I made the mistake of putting it in my ear and slamming it. It was a 10 minute excruciating struggle to undo the clasp to remove the earring. I injured my ear very badly to the point of bleeding, scratched my nail quite deeply with a clip, and punctured my finger. I was finally able to open it with a bobby pin. I cannot recommend these earrings! Oh, and by the way, the silver pair looks really cheap, I don't give a fuck about them.
