Review on πŸͺ‘ Boraam Lucas Desk Chair: Sleek and Stylish in Black by Regina Ford

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The quality could be better for the price

Correct. Three stars. The problem isn't with the aesthetics - this chair looks good and is actually quite comfortable to sit on. The problem lies in the design. This is without a doubt a ready-made textile from China. And from a chair that attempts to style the Eames Lounge Chair (and has taken at least a step toward Eames-level pricing), you'd expect better construction and materials. The wheels are junk plastic that doesn't actually roll, so you're dragging the thing across the floor in a weird way, like you're dragging a dog that doesn't want to move its legs because it knows you're going to the bathroom. Why are the videos not of good quality? I plan to swap mine out. Then start building. The holes on one of the levers didn't quite line up, so I had to fight like a drunk IKEA fanatic to finally get the last screw in. What about the instructions? Spring. It's like a wine-drunk technical writer trying to write an IKEA manual - I had no idea what kind of gear to use at the time. To be clear, I get compliments on this chair; but that's not why I bought it. I also get compliments on my hair; But I don't sit in my hair all day. Your experience may be different. An anthropomorphic factory robot drilling holes for you might get it all right. You may enjoy dragging your reluctant dog into the tub. I'm giving three stars because for the price it could have been a lot better - I mean better quality. Ha ha. I wrote "drilled holes for you".
