Review on Optimized Freeze-Dried Raw Dinner Morsels for Cats by Stella & Chewy's by Renee Thomas

Sick cat likes this

What got me to try this new I would say expensive food. At the end of 2017, my cat turned 13 and started losing muscle mass. In early 2018, he developed a strange upper respiratory tract cough that took several months to resolve. Then blood tests showed a thyroid abnormality, so he was treated for it. In the fall he lost his older cat pal and became very picky about food. Refusing good food (smaller piece but he likes it) and just wants gravy. I had to rub all the leftover food into the sauce or it stayed on the plate. Now he's losing weight, BT suspects gastrointestinal lymphoma, he's on prednisolone and I wanted to eat as well as possible. He eats every bite after I boiled just 4 of them with hot water and chopped them up into tiny chunks less than 0.25. I feel good that he is eating less carbs and I'm glad he swallowed it all. He eats about 5-6 small meals a day, that's about 2 meals, fried plush thigh meat and tuna porridge in the morning. Instead of taking expensive medical tests, I'm turning to better food, medication and considering supplements that will hopefully add a year or two to his life. Fingers crossed.
