This is the third clipper in the $20-$30 range in the last twenty years for my home haircuts every 2-3 times a week. While they are slim and light and have no shortage of accessories, they leave a lot to be desired when it comes to actually cutting hair. Here are the issues my wife and in-house hairstylist have found: Lack of power and going through the same sections of hair multiple times before fully trimming it. Hair accumulates on the clipper and often needs to be scraped off manually. When used without plastic attachments, it feels like burning the skin. In general, it looks unreliable. In short, you could probably do better elsewhere, and it would be nice if Remington could improve on this product.
