I thought for a VERY long time whether I wanted to buy this item or not. There were sooooo many negative reviews and just didn't want to spend any money. After this choice ended up in my worst 2, I decided to just say "what the heck" and bought these. I have to say I am VERY happy with my choice! I love love love these pans. I've read some user reviews of them breaking easily, or the handle catching fire, or the utensils melting when choked. Nothing like this has ever happened to me and I cook in these pans almost every day. Whenever I have company, they always complement the color turquoise. I don't use a dishwasher. I follow the rules to the letter and handwashing is the best way to live a long life! Sometimes I just use my hands and a light soap or a washcloth with a light soap. I stick to the low to medium cooking rule and my pans stay in great shape. I'm very gentle with them.
