I finally found something for our home office that works with my wife's Macbook Air (she got it in 2019) and gave away a Dell laptop for work. Sure it's a little pricey, but it works! I tried several other documents and for some reason only the screen was duplicated on the Macbook. Who duplicated two monitors? With this document you can expand your screens (different elements on each screen)! The only problem is that I couldn't get the thing to work initially. I ended up having to go to the Dell website and update the dock drivers. After that there were no problems! Now my wife and I can sit at the same table and use different laptops without having to switch cables!
