What I've always liked about OGX is that their products are suitable for all hair types. I have mostly 4b/4c hair and this has worked great. The scalp was clean, I could feel it breathing. The shampoo did not dry out the hair, which is usually the case with a clarifying shampoo. My hair is really messy, but this is where conditioner comes in handy. The conditioner didn't quite moisturize my hair (which was fine because the shampoo didn't dry it out initially) but it gave my hair A LOT of slack. ! As soon as I apply the conditioner, the tangles disappear and I can run my fingers through my hair with ease. So if you're looking for an inexpensive clarifying shampoo and conditioner, invest in one. I recommend moisturizing your hair afterwards, maybe even deep conditioning if you have the time.
