What I've always liked about OGX is that their products are suitable for all hair types. I have mostly 4b/4c hair and this has worked great. The scalp was clean, I could feel it breathing. The shampoo did not dry out the hair, which is usually the case with a clarifying shampoo. My hair is really messy, but this is where conditioner comes in handy. The conditioner didn't quite moisturize my hair (which was fine because the shampoo didn't dry it out initially) but it gave my hair A LOT of slack.

I bought this shampoo to get rid of pimples on my scalp and to relieve the itchiness that comes with it. Although it does this for me, its downside is that it makes my hair look like hay. Now that I've bought the OGX Green Tea Moisturizing Shampoo, I can turn it off every day. So far this has helped somewhat with the problem. Next to; this is a good shampoo.

So disappointing. I have very thick and thick hair (think a ponytail) so I only wash once or twice a week as most shampoos dry out/damage the hair causing a lot of build up. I have tried so many dry shampoo brands. So much. Believe me. There are two that dominate for me. Baptiste and OGX. I love this particular activated charcoal detox because it feels like I'm literally detoxing my hair. I wash my hair twice a week so my hair can get pretty greasy and messy in a week. I love this material. My hair just felt. Drone! I've had horrible hormonal hair loss for the past few years (34 total) so I'm very nervous about what I use on my hair, but I knew I needed a good deep cleanse. Use in place of my regular conditioner about every 2 weeks. The hair does not dry out (of course I use a balm), but makes it shinier, lighter and more voluminous. Definitely a good choice!
