Review on πŸ—„οΈ Seville Classics Iron Slat Expandable Kitchen Counter and Cabinet Shelf: Enhanced Storage Solution in Platinum by Ricardo Stewart

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good idea, poor quality control

Works like I wanted EXCEPT on the middle shelf the two plate supports weren't welded properly causing them to stick out higher than the other (pictured, left) supports #3 and #6 are higher than the others, no contact with supports #4 and #5). As a result, it supports 2 instead of multiple support. I understand the plates won't collapse, but in earthquakes they're much more prone to slipping if they're in less than full contact with the supports. Edit: got a replacement. Again two supports were taller than the others, one per shelf. There are 2 shelves, 8 bars per shelf, 2 stitches per bar = 32 stitches. In both received organizers 2 welds were faulty. 1. Organizer was returned due to incorrect batten placement. I will leave the 2nd only because of the position of the errors (1 on the last bar, the other closer to the edge) and based on my example of 2 I believe the 3rd will show the same. It's a real shame that the build quality is just NO for such a premium looking product. The shelf is sturdy and beautifully finished (except for the quality mentioned above). return for replacement; I hope the replacement gets better. Edit: Shelf surfaces are slippery, not a problem unless you live in an earthquake area. Concerned about the slipping of porcelain stoneware, we have fitted the shelves with non-slip inserts. Absolutely no quality control. That would be fine if you wanted to rock the harness to sleep, but otherwise. DOES NOT sit flat on a flat surface; I had to tighten it 3/8 inch to keep it from swaying.
