The price was good, but these blocks quickly lost their strength.

Bought because of the wedge, helps to climb into the nooks and crannies. The downside is I was hoping they would last longer but they barely broke through a few pieces of driftwood. I've used others that have lasted much longer.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • There are nuances

No worse than more expensive blocks.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these multi-grit sanding blocks. I thought a low price might result in a low quality product. But they are well made, last a long time and work well. Definitely worth it. I will not go back to more expensive sanding blocks.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Frequency

Works exactly like the brand name

I've always been amazed at how expensive these tools can be in the store. I don't often repair drywall (thank goodness!), but I always like to have a sanding sponge handy. They worked great when I needed them and I'm not worried they will be around for years to come. Great alternative to expensive brands.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Just spend a little more and buy 3m

Sand sponges were decent quality, I've used them to buff paint on my car but they didn't really remove any material. . Abrasive sponges must be individually marked with the grit number. I think I saved some money by just buying my regular 3m sanding pads.

Pros
  • Great general specs
Cons
  • Not sure

Great sanding pads!

Excellent sanding sponges. Different types of sanding blocks are great for different projects. Corner edging is great for hard-to-reach places, corners, floors, etc. They wash well and are ready to use again. Unlike sandpaper, the sheet is finished when the surface is worn. Can be used wet or dry. Would buy again.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Inflexible, very crumbly sponge material

This sponge is probably good for semi-flat surfaces and long straight edges of trails and the like. I've used them for small wood crafts (plants and animals) and they didn't do the job. The sponge breaks easily and is made from fairly stiff foam (not at all like latex foam). The other sanding pads you saw in the picture are great.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

GARBAGE! Stick to 3M sponge.

absolute rubbish! I understand they are very cheap for the price so I wasn't expecting much. I only ordered this pack to lighten some of the inside and outside edges on the six closet doors I made. those lips parted instantly. I went through all the medium grit sponges before finishing the doors. It's also worth noting that the sponges themselves don't list or mark the grit, so it's a guess-and-compare game.

Pros
  • While satisfied
Cons
  • I'll write later

Not recommended for precision work.

Each sanding pad falls out of the box. No individual packaging or label on the skinner indicates which sponge and grit. It was obvious before use what was natural and what was fine. Couldn't tell extra fine from fine or fine from medium. When used with grinding dust on the jaws, deviations are hardly noticeable. Poor product when working on a project where going from final to ultrafine is a major concern. Better suited for general purpose applications where changing granularity is irrelevant.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great value for money best hand sanding products

I bought this pack of sanding sponges after burning through 2-3 packs at a big store (about $3 each, may I add) . We overlapped - with 1/4 plywood - and I had to quickly deburr the edges before priming/painting. Aesthetics - (9/10) These sponges arrived in great shape. The corners were sharp and the grit was consistent on all surfaces. Function - (9/10) To be honest I couldn't tell any difference in performance between these sponges and big store name brand sponges. The sand of the court…

Pros
  • handy item
Cons
  • so far so good
