I bought this pack of sanding sponges after burning through 2-3 packs at a big store (about $3 each, may I add) . We overlapped - with 1/4 plywood - and I had to quickly deburr the edges before priming/painting. Aesthetics - (9/10) These sponges arrived in great shape. The corners were sharp and the grit was consistent on all surfaces. Function - (9/10) To be honest I couldn't tell any difference in performance between these sponges and big store name brand sponges. The sand of the court quickly took care of my split sheets of plywood. Haven't used many fine sponges, but a quick test on a table I was working on gave great results. The beveled edges are great for finishing corners. Durability - (8/10) I'm probably a bit too aggressive with most sanding products, but I'm very pleased with how well they've held up on some projects. As I continue to use them I will update this review. Value - (10/10) Honestly, this is where those lips shine. They're literally half the price (or cheaper) than I can buy at the hardware store and work just as well. I will probably continue to buy these instead of buying them at retail. Overall this is a great way to save money if you do a lot of hand sanding/touching up. I would recommend them to their retail counterparts any day.
